N.B.:
1.  Word count is based on Chinese characters.  Translation fee must be paid in to our bank
    account for jobs less than 500 words before the translated work is handed over to the
    client.  If word count is based on the number of foreign words, the rates quoted above
    have to be multiplied by a factor of 1.8.
2.  Electronic documents in the format of MS Word, Excel or PDF etc.  Fees for image files
    or tables are extra.
3.  A deposit of 50% based on the number of estimated word count.
4.  Word count for long standing customers can be accumulated concessions in the calculation.
5.  If there are minor changes to the original document after payment is made, corresponding
    translation amendments can be offered free of charge.

Explanations:

1. Oral interpretation of other rare languages.
2. An additional 20~30% on top of the original rates will apply if the assignment is
   overseas.  Customer is responsible for the translator's transportation, food,
   accommodation, safety, etc.
3. The rates quotation above are for the whole day (i.e. less or equal to 8 hours,
   overtime expense if 8 hours are exceeded = whole day expense / 8 hrs. * 1.5)
4. If it is under 4 hours, it will be counted as half-day.  Half day fee = whole
   day fee * 60%
