Bowway Written Translation Service Flow-chart

1.  Detailed explanation to the inquiries of customers

Inquiries are conducted between customers and Bowway through telephone, e-mail or instant messengers.  Bowway will quote an accurate pricing and confirm the completion date according to the document and requirements of the customer.

2.  Signing of a Contract with the Customer

After the friendly co-ordination between Bowway and the customer, both parties will reach agreement and sign a contract stating the exact amount, translation requirements, delivery date and time, payment method, etc.

3.  Project Analysis by Bowway

After a project has been accepted, we will verify the quantity and requirements of the customer’s translation, including the number of pages, number of words, disposal method of images, text format, way of transmission of the finished work, date and time of submission of the finished work etc that are related to the contract.  According to the entrusting contract signed by the customer, we will decide upon a translation plan with the translation department, including but not limited to retrieving background material, preparing a bi-lingual listing of professional and frequently used vocabulary, to ensure the quality, accuracy and uniformity of the translation.

4.   Selecting the Right Translator by Planners

After entrusting relationship contract has been confirmed, the Planning Department of Bonway Translation will select from the Bowway Translation team of translators a translator who can undertake the assignment based on the professional knowledge background in the required jurisdiction of the client.  In order to provide your project with the best solution, we have already conducted detailed analysis and confirmation on the skills and quality of our translators.   We will only arrange translators who have the corresponding educational background, technological experience and professional knowledge to translate your document.

5. Translation of Customer's Documents

Our Translation Department will ascertain the division of work between our professional translators and the order in which the completed translation is submitted, based on the translation plan and confirmed by the customer.  The implementation progress and quality of the project will be coordinated, supervised and controlled at the same pace.

6.  Proofreading of Customer’s Documents

Once the draft translation is available, our auditor will conduct professional proofreading on the translated document, Then the opinion on the revisions will be sent back to the translator for verification.  Ultimately, a preliminary confirmation of the translation is achieved. 

7.  Pagination by our Editing Department

Our Editing Department will arrange for pagination according to the requirements of the customer, and we are able to cope with different pagination requirements.  Whether it is a colored pamphlet or special formats requiring one page to match another, or simplified Chinese or traditional Chinese, we can arrange for such pagination work according to the requirements of the customer and arrange everything prior to actual printing.  We can fulfill the different formats required by the customer:  Chinese and foreign language typing, pagination, image scanning, and provide pdf, pagination using Freehand, Pagemaker, Framemaker, Illustrator to provide for different types of document pagination and documents containing bitmaps, vector images, etc.

8.  Delivering the Completed Translation to the Customer

After translation and pagination, our project management team or project manager will thoroughly examine the product output.  We must guarantee that the newly translated document matches with the original document.  After the project manager has been satisfied with the translated work, our Business Department will delivery it to the customer.

9.    Follow up on Quality, After-Sale Service

Bowway Translaton conducts follow up survey on the quality of customer’s translated   documents and 3 month after-sale service.  If the customer has any queries or revision needs within 3 months of the submission of the translated work, Bowway will provide such free service to the customer, with the exception of new additions.
